Taken with a Nikon Z5 with 24-200 lens and a flashlight

In the mood for adventure I traveled to the amazon jungle in Iquitos Peru for vacation. I stayed the night in the jungle and I went hiking to get some photos of the local wildlife. I captured several images of snakes, frogs, and this scorpion hanging out on a tree.

I also got stung and bit by several insects. Fever set in within a few days and I began to have hallucinations. Most of my bites became infected and I was taken to a local hospital for treatment. I had contracted Leishmaniasis which is a local parasite in the jungle. A couple rounds of antibiotics got me back to normal eventually.
