For the better part of an entire day, I stood by my camera on the side of a tiny canyon road tucked in right up against the barrier with a giant drop off ahead overlooking a unique stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway north of Malibu. Originally, I was intending on capturing a timelapse, but I ended up selecting three of my favorite frames and printing them side-by-side as a triptych. This was by far the longest I’ve ever spent on location to take essentially a single composition.
