My name is Specialist Charlie Clark. I create content for and help manage the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade (25th CAB) social media pages. This photo was taken from the deck of the USS Comstock during deck landing qualifications aboard the for Soldiers assigned to Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment (3-25) and Delta Troop, 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment (2-6) off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii. The flight crews took turns conducting deck landing training as the crew from the ship guided the pilots safely onto the ship. This shot was especially difficult because of the timing with the 2-6 Apache helicopter in the background. This photo shows the 3-25 Chinook coming in for a landing on the deck of the Comstock. I used my Sony A7R4 with a Sony 18 - 105 f/4 lens. I believe the photo was shot around f/8, iso 100, and 1/250th shutter speed to get the motion of the blades.
