This image i took at the Kgalagadi park near Botswana. It was at a waterhole, where 6 lions were sleeping under the trees , and the temperature outside was 113°F at 3.30pm. My suv window was open , and i was about 20m from the lions, while the aircon inside the vehicle was switched off , as i did not want to make to much noise. At some stage my Canon R5 and Sigma 150-600mm Sport lens overheated to such n extent ( i was also suffering), that i closed the window, and switched on the aircon (using the vehicle battery only) , holding the equipment in front of aircon vents, to cool it down. I waited until about 6.30pm in my suv , to get this late afternoon shot at sunset, which i had in mind. What an amazing experience, although challenging circumstances!
