Lamborghini & Glamour Shoot in an Abandoned Warehouse
This shoot was a logistical and technical challenge due to its unique setting—an abandoned industrial warehouse with poor lighting conditions and an unpredictable environment. The Lamborghini’s highly reflective lime-green surface made lighting an even bigger challenge, as any misstep in positioning lights would create unwanted reflections or harsh highlights.
The main difficulty was achieving the right balance between ambient and artificial lighting. I used a mix of strobes and continuous LED lights, carefully positioning them to create depth while ensuring the models remained well-lit without excessive shadows. The background was another hurdle: while the distressed textures of the peeling paint and rusted metal contrasted beautifully with the polished car and elegant styling of the models, it required extensive composition adjustments to avoid distractions and frame the subjects correctly.
Additionally, shooting on high heels on uneven ground was a challenge for the models, requiring patience and multiple takes to get the perfect pose. The post-processing phase was also meticulous—I had to clean up distractions, refine skin tones, and subtly enhance the neon green of the car without making it look artificial. The final result captured a stunning mix of luxury and urban decay, making it one of the most rewarding but difficult shoots I’ve ever done.
