While the setup and capturing of this photo wasn't hard, just getting to the location was a multiple day journey. From a full day of driving and ferrying from Vancouver International Airport, 2 hour boat ride into the remote Princess Louisa Inlet (only accessible via water and air transport), and 4 days backpacking 8400 feet above sea level while carrying a tent, food, clothes and more, to say that it's nearly impossible to get here on your own is an understatement. The mountain paths change every year, meaning the mountain guides have to relearn the route every summer before taking anyone up the mountain. Taken on my Canon 5D mark II, EF 50mm f/1.8 STM.
