I had just received a Miops camera trigger in the mail today and early evening (just after the blue hour) a quick thunderstorm passed overhead in Southern Alberta, Canada. After a few failed attempts the Miops triggered the camera when the exposure and focus was correctly set. In the subdivision in the foreground the downward stroke of lightning strikes just behind the houses while the rest cuts across the sky.
