Storm, Holland Lake, Montana

I had been hiking in the mountains above this little lake, and it had been drizzling all day long. I remember that I stopped under a huge tree for a little shelter and thought I would like to photograph this little isthmus of land against the larger mountains behind it and thinking that it would be terrific if I got an overcast between the mountains and the isthmus. About that time the cloud level dropped, almost to lake level and kept going down till the peak behind this spit of land showed the top only.
