I was backpacking with a buddy in the Bisti Badlands in Northern New Mexico. It was freaking, nasty hot and all I wanted was to find a shady spot while my friend was trying to build a composition that would never happen. I was watching the sky, not enjoying the hot - and the bitey bugs when I began to see this composition. Must have been hallucinating from the heat because I saw three faces in the capstone on the tower. I used a Toyo 45A camera, 150mm Sinaron lens a #61 Dark Green and a Polarizer filter stacked. Kodak T-Max 100 film. To see more of my work, go to nathanmccreery.com
