The Milky Way over the Northen Blossom
This image may seem overwhelming to some, and the process to capture it might also appear daunting, haha. What makes this image challenging is that it was taken with two cameras using three different types of lenses, with star tracking applied to all but the foreground.
The Milky Way shot and the foreground were captured using a Nikon Z8 and a 20mm f/1.8S lens. I also used the Nikkor 85mm 1.2S lens to add details to the most colorful part of the Milky Way (the middle section with blue, yellow, and magenta colors). The red color of the Milky Way was captured using a cooled astro camera equipped with a 35mm 1.8 lens and a specific filter to highlight the red nebulosity.
The post-processing was also complex. First, I stitched together the shots taken by the astro camera. Then, I had to align the sky of the foreground with the shot taken with the tracker, the shot captured with the 85mm lens, and the panorama from the astro camera.
I think the image works for me because the colors of the flowers in the foreground complement the colors of the night sky, thanks to the filter.
