Just an addition as part of this month's shadow theme. I don't take many images of architecture but like to try and capture the more abstract.

Earlier this year I bought a kayak with the intention to take it out on the water with my camera, the 200-500mm lens on a tripod.
I was able to catch the mornings first light with a bunch of great people at this very popular location.
This is Raleigh's Memorial Auditorium. I used several photos b/w gold hour and blue hour for this time blend. In addition, I was super upset that the tree didn't light up while I was there.
When Brinkley and I were planning our shoot, she showed me a pic of this orange dress. She thought it was "too orange". I told here I thought it was "just the right amount or orange".
Not considering myself much of a street photographer, but I did shoot this street earlier today. I find the play of light and shadow quite pleasing.
It was more troublesome than the results.

I use those little battery powered white LED string lights for the light source. Three for the sign and the rest bundled.
This time of year (November) the sun stays lower in the sky so deeper shadows are more normal than would be the case at other times of the year.
As suggested by Charles, this month's challenge is to create & post images where a key ingredient is shadow content.

14 images focus stacked. Closest Focal Point was about 16 inches. Cropped to16 x 9 to remove dead space. The little guy is 1" tall.
