Deep Into the Night - Orion Nebula

First time trying something beyond photographing the Sun and the Moon, so this is experimental for me.

All of these are combinations of 25-30 sequential images brought into Photoshop as separate layers. I auto-aligned #1, #3, and #4 before auto-blending them. #2 and #5 I only auto-blended.

The other day, while Harry was walking me around the neighborhood, I was wondering why I was bothering to carry my Nikon when I wasn't photographing anything.

Jadyn was referred to me by a model friend. She's not a model and she lives a few hours drive away from the city. She wanted to have the model/photoshoot experience.

I know the theme is to submit your most colorful images, but how many times have there reviewed something that is completely against the stated theme?

My first real attempt at Bodyscape Fine Art, when i was asked by this lady (72) to do a boudoir shoot for her, and we decided also to do a few fine art shots.

After a slow start the Red Maples are really popping here now in Vermont.

In this area of mostly needle trees the nice colorful Liquid Amber hasn't started changing, while lot's of Pin Oak's look like the peal of a russet potato.

I had let my wife off for work and while driving out of the parking lot I spotted this cloud in the sky.

I was hiking and photographing in an area of Montana that is just stunningly beautiful. The trees here are just gigantic, and as I walk there I can imagine that I am in God's garden.

EDIT to add Behind the Scenes

In the west a pool of water is often referred to as a tank.

I'm looking to set if people prefer the color or black and white version.

Often when I am hiking or backpacking I will plan on getting at least one, and sometimes two or three, memorable images per day.

By now you know two things: First is that AI and photography isn't going away; and second... I like screwing around.

My favorite place to capture the sunset is at the beach in So. California. The colors change dramatically from minute to minute.

None of these photos are portfolio ready, but rather snapshots and having fun with my camera.

After the Eagles game (Yay! 4-0), Harry and I went out back and switched out the SD card in the trailcam.

I was returning home from visiting with my mother over mother's day. This building is on the east side of Las Vegas, Nevada - my least favorite place to visit - and I couldn't help but stop.
