Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a wildlife photographer. I mostly do cityscapes/landscapes but it's nice to change it up every now and then. Thanks for looking!

On my walk I photographed another standing Heron and when I got home I thought..."How many standing Herons are you going to photograph, I mean, seen one; seen 'em all!"
I have always preferred sunrise than sunset to shoot pictures, places are less crowded and there is something special about doing something you like while the rest of the word is asleep.
So first off I get that the composition might not be super great. I'm not super happy with it my self. I was struggling to find a decent composition in this location to begin with.

Hello again,
As I was walking on the fairly unused section of the trail I almost walking into an occupied spiderweb.
Taken with a Sony 6400 and some of my very first post work in Lightroom Classic. Any critiques and suggestions are more than welcomed.
I photographed these (and a few more) this weekend at farmland close to my place.
The elk I was shooting the day before were not cooperating this day so I took a side adventure to Trillium Falls in Orick, Ca.
Was looking for a different composition rather than the run of the mill Moment Valley photograph. Taken with my Sony 6400.
While walking along the tracks heading to photograph Mossbrea falls in Northern California I came across this section of tracks that simply stopped me in my tracks for a moment.

Parisian cemeteries are pretty fascinating places for me. (Yes, the fake flowers were really that color.)
Tried something new with 1kg of cotton wool that we piled up on a gray backdrop to then add a digital background.
I was out photographing waterfalls in the area when I was presented with the opportunity to capture this image of the mountain. sony a6400 iso 100 116mm f/11 1/1000.
Critique is welcome.

Portrait of a Limpkin in Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville, Louisiana.
I took off to Shell Beach, Louisiana (not really a beach) early one morning with a specific site in mind to photograph.
I have always heard, and it is a 'stated fact' almost everywhere, that RAW files are uncompressed, unprocessed files.

This month's challenge is not one with a photographic requirement, it is one of participation and engagement.
Rain. It's been awhile since we have had anything serious, so that means it's a great time for Photography. (but then when isn't it?)
This is a new version of a photo I took back in April during a business trip. I've cropped in to give more focus to the parliament building.
