Watching the waves roll over the barnacle encrusted volcanic rock I kept the shutter fast to freeze the image. It was very late afternoon approaching golden hour.
Back after a two year hiatus (due to covid), Vivd Sydney is an explosion of lights around the Sydney Harbor and surrounds.
He fell in love with photography in the 70's while growing up in southern California. And this love of capturing the human condition beginning with film and eventually digital, has never abated.
As the group has gone quiet the past few days, I thought I'd add something a little more lighthearted.
Thoughts on this - anyone up to adding a suitable caption?

I've been photographing different kinds of dancers and artists for a project of mine for 1,5 years now. This one is from the 4th photo shoot (with a professional circus artist Pinja Seppälä).
Photo of a honey bee on flowers (not sure what kind of flowers). This was a shot that I almost deleted after looking at it on the camera screen. Glad I chose not to.
This shot was taken while exploring South Louisiana's Tchefuncte River, and the many waterways and swamps that feed into it.
One of the numerous aspen groves dotting the southern foothills of the Pioneer mountains in central Idaho.
Up until 2007 they were on the endangered species list. Now they are thriving in Southern Alaska.
Can you imagine anything more beautiful than this?

Few places transmit as many sensations as Os Ancares. Its winding roads, its particular orography and its charming villages scattered throughout the mountains... make it magical.
Variation on the ITR theme. I have been wondering about if traffic signals could be a good fit as an ITR subject and finally got round to experimenting.
Most of the time I let the layers sit in the order they were shot. However, sometimes that is not appropriate.
I was strolling through FB when I came across a post where an individual that was "Playing with a new idea" and it was a photograph of a Ring in the Gutter of a Book.
I ran across Maddison's IG recently. One caption read "I wish my sister would come back to take photos of me". I promptly volunteered to help solve this problem. We had a great shoot.
