Portland Photographers Forum has a monthly challenge and each member can submit up to five photographs to share. The May challenge was Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) / Multiple Exposure.

Beautiful 1960 Aston Martin DB4 Series II caught in Venice Florida during an auto show poker run.

Caught this guy by the lake in my community in Venice, Fla, we have a pretty good eagle and hawk population down here which surprised me coming from NY.

These photos are of a(n) (unused) chicken coop at Steam Pump Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.

I was never 100% satisfied with some of my pics from my 2022 trip to Acadia National Park. I was only there for a couple days and the sunsets/skies were kind of lame the entire time I was there.

In line with this month's challenge here are a few others where details may be missed on first viewing.

I wasn't sure this was going to work but I think it came out better than expected.

This young female snail kite came in very close to our boat to snag a snail.

I've shied away from this technique lately. That day, the individual shots were better than those in this panoramic assembly. I posted some of them on Blusky.com

I am finally getting around to looking at some of the photos from our Arizona trip and a couple photos easily fall into the challenge.

A closer look

Stunning Oia is carved out of Santorini's cliffs—a panorama of white buildings dotted with colorful rooftops typical of the country-set against the deep blue sea.

With a fast-paced social media world that favors images with ‘pop’ it’s easy for more thoughtful work to be overlooked.

This photo creation is a snapshot...or is it? A second look may just change your mind.

What did you see upon closer inspection that wasn't obvious at first sight?

The first time I showed this image to anyone it was a friend of mine a fellow photographer, peering through a magnifying lupe over a light table, after minutes of silent, study his response did not

I recently had the opportunity to photograph this historic house that was recently renovated. These are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

Update 4/30/25

Got lucky that, while visiting River Walk Park in Jacksonville, North Carolina, there was a fairly decent sized alligator that kept swimming back and forth for quite a while.

Took my camera for a walk in my meadow this afternoon and managed to capture this dragonfly in flight. I think dragon flies are some of the most colorful insects in the Animalia Kingdom.

I have been experimenting with processing and would like to understand the preferences and general thoughts of others.

My favorite place to capture the sunset is at the beach in So. California. The colors change dramatically from minute to minute.
