The weather is certainly changing here in Vermont, with temperatures dipping and the dark of night arriving increasingly early. With that comes overnight frost, and morning fog.
I was setting up for a practice shot for something like Icarus, using the lamp from my desk.
You have to begin somewhere....
My thought is to "temporarily" place a WHOLE BUNCH OF DIMES on a sheet of glass and take a photograph.
Located somewhere along the Great Ocean Road Coastline, Victoria, Australia. The forecast didn't look promising and was looking like that as we arrived on location.
The ominous peaks of Tombstone Territorial Park looming above the low hanging clouds at Divide lake. After a few nights at Talus Lake, we packed up and headed to Divide lake for 3 nights.
I really like this image, but I'm biased by my positive memory of the shoot itself. The composition was quite tricky, and I'm not sure if cutting off the palm trees was the right move.

Left side of the Mariaqueira waterfall. One of the most beautiful and difficult waterfalls that I have been able to photograph due to its hidden location and the orography of the area.
I love staying at Aquila Eco Lodges in the southern Grampians here in Victoria in winter, looking out at the bush and the odd kangaroo or wallaby, relaxiing with a few art portfolios.
