I was working on my residency a Bighorn National Forest in northern Wyoming and there was a canyon on the eastern edge of the national forest with such a crazy name that I could not resist visiting
Of course, a group of crows could be silhouettes but the viewer should not confuse them with other birds

This image was created while I was serving my residency at Acadia National Park in Maine, USA. For a denizen of the desert like me it was like a paradise. A photographic playground.
There was a Herron sitting in the water, I had to change my lens so that I can at least try and get some photos of him.
I was going to be in Mia's home town. I reached out and set up a shoot while I was there. We spent the afternoon walking the downtown area.

The Bisti is a trackless wilderness area in Northern New Mexico. There are no marked trails, or reliable maps that I am aware of.
It is often - usually - hard to find a pleasing composition in densely vegetated areas for me, especially forests.
This is an ICM images of onion skins in a sheet of ice. I took the base photo, duplicated it, then flipped and layered on top of the original and finally desaturated with NIC.
Just for fun, I tried simulating Ansel's famous photo.... But about the only think I got right was the mountains.... The trees have grown a lot in 83 years, can't hardly see the Snake River...
