Location: Waxhaw, NC
This Bridge is on the Carolina Thread Hiking Trail and it separates NC and SC.
Shot on a basic Nikon D5300
Kits lens 18-55
My settings were somewhere around
7 seconds, f8, ISO 400
Taken around midnight.
The difficulty in this shot is that I was by myself, and the camera was setup too far away for my remote to reach it. So the amount of times I had to start the timer, run up the hill, onto the middle of the bridge and HOPE I could get the steel wool lit and spinning in time while getting a good composition. It was somewhere around 25-30 times before I finally got the shot I was looking for. Lot of sweat, and dirty knees from tripping over myself in the dark, but I think it was worth it in the end!
Also in case anyone is worries about it, it had just rained less than an hour before I went out there so no risk of fires. Hence the slipping multiple times on my run up the hill. Lol.
Good luck to everyone!
