Bon Appetit!

What can I say about this shot?

The challenges were many, first had to find the best day to shoot this and get together 2 models and 1 makeup artist. I did face to face interviews with each model and explained the concept and also talked to the MUA by email.

Next was the best location which ended up being the dining table, also to make it more interesting I put some aluminum shiny paper to bounce the speedlights around and make the models that were lathed in baby oil more shiny.

Next it was trying to get interesting angles to get some shots since half the table was covered by the aluminum paper there were not many options left.

Of course, I also had to purchase the sushi (it's real) and set up everything but in the end I got some unique shots and it was a great experience for all, the models ate the leftover sushi after the shoot actually. (not the ones they were wearing
obviously)

This was shot with the Canon 5Dmk2 and the 24mm-105mm f4 lens shot at f14 and 1/100 second speed and of course, lit with 2 Canon Speedlights.

Thanks!
