Image of Red fire goby taken at a depth of about 70 feet in the Bismarck Sea off New Britain Island in Papua New Guinea.Because this fish is skittish and when disturbed quickly darts into its burrow, capturing the image required lying motionless at the base of the reef for several moments, waiting for the fish to reappear.The image os from digitized 35mm slide shot on Fuji Velvia with a Nikon RS, with a 50mm macro and two SB104 strobes.
