1.82 - "Needs Work" 

Okay, you asked for it. Not the best photograph, but certainly one of the more difficult. I took this way back when I was shooting 35mm film. I was the aircrew, I sat directly behind the pilots in a seat that would slide side-to-side and could rotate 360 degrees. It went something like this:
Take off from the cutter (the boat), gain some altitude, make sure the camera was secured to the strap and around my neck (over my helmet and survival vest), slide the seat to the edge of the cabin, rotate the seat to face the door, open the door, stick the camera out into the airstream, have the pilot kick the tail to the left some (nose right), snap several photographs, hope for the best. I could not look through the viewfinder, this was truly “point and shoot.”

This is a scan of the best picture I got that day, I do not have a quality scanner nor do I have the greatest Photoshop skills. Here it is—enjoy!
