My image was taken back in the fun times of 2020 when not a lot of anything was possible. The location is the Gateway Bridge which spans the Brisbane River in Queensland, the model is Riley Jade. Although Queensland was not shut down like other parts of Australia, we still had to contend with closed borders and limited movements. Riley had moved back to New South Wales so we had to plan our project when borders were open, this ended up taking several months and ended up happening during our winter period. The structural base of the bridge is quite deceiving and we had to wait until high tide so Riley could get from the inflatable boat we paddled out in to be able to get on to the base. We did look for an access ladder and a sign saying stay off, and found neither. The images was taken with a Canon 5D mk3 with a 24-70 f/2.8, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. Definitely challenging as the location was not easily accessible, I wasn't sure of the legalities of shooting on the structure, particularly with a nude subject. The weather, tides and dealing with closed borders also added to the complexity. One of my favourite images from the night.
