I hiked out to this location three times in hopes of an awesome sunset shot. The 0.6 miles hike consists of going over a smaller bridge that's in poor condition; but still a better option than encountering the snakes in the brush. Luckily, I saw the snake before I got closer to him. It's quite a remote location, so a bit spooky, but I did encounter another photographer or two on each trip.
It's difficult because you're shooting straight into the sunset. I bracketed shots, but due to wind that didn't work out in post. I ended up duplicating the image and editing one for the sky and one for the everything else, then combining the two images.
