There is just something about portraits of people looking out the window - doesn't matter if its in a building, train or car. Its something we do all the time, but never really pay attention to it. This is why seeing these awesome images capturing this quick-everyday-moment is really great. It makes you think. What are they seeing? What are they thinking of? are they happy? sad?

Independent video producer Bard Canning spent 4 weeks trying to improve the footage of Curiosity's landing released by NASA last month, and the result is insanely amazing. He used thousands of tracking points in a technique called motion-flow interpolation, and added sound effects to make it look and sound even more realistic.

I don't know what GoPro cameras are made out of that makes seagulls like them so much, but once again a seagull stole a GoPro - this time in San Francisco. The camera was on and aimed at the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset when the bird decided to take the viewers for a short tour over the Bay Area. Check it out, and keep your equipment safe!

Photographer Noah Kalina was one of the first people to make a viral video on Youtube, back in 2006, when he posted a clip made out of self-portraits he took of himself for 6 years. He called it "Everyday", and got over 23 Million views. It got so big back in 2006, even the Simpsons made a parody about it.

For the past 30 days NASA spammed the Internet with Panoramas or regular format pictures from Mars. Any news site I read features new photos from Curiosity every 2 days, 20% of the tweets on my feed are related to photos from Mars. Yeah, Its awesome to see photos from other planets around us, but to be honest? Earth photos are way cooler.

'Awkward Stock Photos' is a great tumblr blog featuring some of the weirdest and the most unnecessary stock images in the world. From Santa without pants to a snake smoking pot all the way to a banana kicking a cow. You wont believe the amount of awkward stock photos companies like Shutterstock, iStockPhoto or Getty Images offer for sale.

Most of us use our phones mainly for things that are not phone calls. Probably the most popular use of phones these days is snapping pictures, this is why the next iPhone got a totally different look that will change the way we take photos with our phones - a look that most of us know very well. And not only that: the resolution and glass are going to be way better.

Check out these 20 images of few of the most interesting animals on the planet: from Sentinels to Eagles, owl and Egrets. Birds of all types flying, Eating or just posing to the camera.

Active volcano is something most of us will never see 'face to face', but the ones who do go next to one can get beautiful and unique images of this geological phenomena. Check out these amazing volcano images found on Flickr - some taken by pro photographers, some by amateurs - but all are truly great.

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in history. Best ever. He did something many people tried doing for many years, and his achievement will raise a whole new generation of people who will have a dream of being like him. Tomorrow we are going to see Michael Phelps competing for the last time, so there is no better time to dedicate a post to him.

Infra-red is something we just can't see with our own naked eyes. We usually use it in products like the Xbox Kinect or for night vision goggles, but when using the right filter on your camera, you can use infra-red light to create amazing images.

Have you ever used infra-red filters for your photography? if so, please share the results with us on our Facebook Group!

I actually dont really know how to ride a bicycle, but i do know I love Queen's song about riding it and decided to make a post about it. Check out these great photos of Cyclists found on Flickr and like always - let us know which are your favorites!

This is not the usual water-drop photo series you're used to see on many blogs (including FS) of splashing water and bouncing droplets. This set is not focused on the droplets, but on what you see in them. Check out this set of great images found on Flickr and let us know which are your favorites!

In this scientific project, a group of researchers decided to find a way to make normal 2D prints react to light the same way 3D objects react to it. As you can see it works really great, but the photo quality is still not so good. I'm sure that with some more research and development it will get much better.

Projection Mapping became a big hit in the past few years, and many brands use it for making cool looking ads outside over big buildings. Basically they all use the same shticks: Changing what you see in windows, making bricks fall down, or making part of the building explode. This is why AntiVJ's "Omicron" is so different.

We see planes flying around us everyday, usually they are pretty far away and look pretty boring to the naked eye. To add to that, most photos of planes are somewhat boring and uncreative and always look the same. This is why I decided to show you those amazing photos of planes flying in the sky. Check them out and let us know which are your favorite!

As you all know Euro 2012 is being played this month with some of the best soccer players in the world. Those stars didn't become stars just like that, most of them started playing as young kids out on the streets, or in their local field. I truly believe that soccer is probably one of the only things in the world that is 100% international, 100% border-less. All you need is a ball, thats all.

Did you know that in just two minutes, we take more pictures than all of humanity in the 1800′s? Or that just 12 years ago digital photography was only 1% of photos taken world-wide?

No, relax, you're not going to see photos from recent zombie attacks (maybe next week?). Its just awesome looking faceless portraits. A face without eyes, mouth or a nose is not just weird, it also takes away any personality from the photographed person, which makes the photos even more special and unique. So, which is your favorite?

Photos of rainbows tend to look cheesy and kitschy, and people usually "abuse" the pictures with tons of crazy editing and heavy HDR effects to make it look cooler (and fail). But - when doing it tastefully, the results can be breath-taking - and breath-taking are exactly the kind of images we collected here for you.

Doesn't matter if you're a pro, semi-pro or a beginner, this video made by DigitalRev have some really great quick tips for any photographer out there - from ISO to equipment, all the way to location and concept. Do you have additional tips to add? leave them in the comments!

We all know the classic way to light paint photos, usually with a flashlight or a similar light source, but recently a new technique came to life: Light Stenciling. The idea is simple - instead of moving a flashlight in the frame to create shapes, you use a computer display (iPads, iPhones, Laptops) to add characters and items to the image by placing a graphic on top of a black background.

Trees are something that we're used to seeing together, in groups, or at least a few feet away from each other. This is why pictures of lonely trees are so magical. It makes you stop for a second and think about the place, and even make your own story for the picture. Check out this set of amazing lonely tree images chosen out of thousands of pictures on Flickr.

Dean Fleischer-Camp, who brought you 'Marcel The Shell' (together with Jenny Slate), decided to make a funny video showing how ridiculous people look like when posing for a picture. All he did was taking a short video of his friends posing for what they thought is going to be still photos. Genius. Scary how ridiculous we all look when posing for a picture.

Underwater photography is a kind-of-rare form of photography. Its way less accessible for most of us, as most of us cant afford the super expensive DSLR underwater housing, and Intagram will probably fail in this mission as well.

I bet most of you never heard of the term "Scanography" before, but its ok, I just learned about it a week ago. The idea of Scanography is using a regular paper scanner as a camera, and take pictures of whatever can fit in or around the scanner. The results are somewhere between scary to magical. Check out the best Scanography photos found on Flickr!

Smoking is totally bad for your health, and the health of the people around you. BUT, I think we can all agree smoking is awesome for your pictures. With the right light, location or theme, you can get great and memorable shots when the model is smoking.

Sunsets are probably one of most photographed 'subjects' ever. Almost every photographer out there is shooting something related to sunsets here and there, and it doesn't matter if its a pro shooter or just someone who started - beautiful sunset is just something that is hard to ignore. This week I bring you some of the best sunset images found on Flickr.

From my experience as a photographer, dancers are the best models out there by far. I'll always prefer shooting a dancer with no modeling experience, than someone who cant dance and have some experience. They Know how to move, how to control their body and positions. They have grace, and usually with them I get the best results.

Levitation photography always makes me wonder how it would be if one day we'll all get a special power that will allow us to levitate or fly around. This week i'm bringing you 15 of the most beautiful levitation photos found on Flickr - check them out and tell us in the comments which are your favorites.

As some of you may know, I started my photography career as a sport/basketball photographer, and I'm a big sports fan in general.
