I took some photos of a make-up artist I work with. I think they turned out well.
Minimalist....after a fashion, but definitely depth.

With Spring hitting our region I ventured out last week and revisited a site I have ben meaning to get back to.
I want to start using the Nikon User Settings (U1, U2, U3). My most common photographs are landscapes, wildlife, and macros.
Any recommendations or experiences using the User Settings?

Going through old photos. Taken with an old camera in a rented room a long time ago. Nothing manipulated. This is more or less what it looked like.
This is the Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest on the Danube River. The weather forecast was not looking good.
I have been watching a hawk nest with new born chicks. This was a windy cloudy bad light day with little action.

In the first image the yellow rumped warbler eyes a mosquito… image upper left corner. With a strong leap from the branch…second image…he captures the unfortunate mosquito for dinner.
Not the best quality image but its the inequality of men versus nature. Hopefully you get the idea.
Recently, I commented on another photographer's that the fill on his multi-photograph image should be black instead of white since his GIMP software did not have content-aware fill.
Remember my composition with the cormorant ? This time I got a series of pictures of a heron in flight, which I then composed into a chain that documents the (almost) complete flight.

Went out to the Arrow lakes near Castlegar, BC the other night and took these shots. The one of the waterfall was light painted after dark.
If you shoot with a Canon or not, you may have heard the new Firmware update that using In Body Image Stabilization to take 9 RAW images quickly and process it into one large jpeg.
