Aerial at 300mm
I'm certain that one of the books I have downstairs would give me the formula to answer this, but can anyone answer how much depth of field a 300mm lens will allow at a distance of six feet?

I used an 11mm and 18mm extension tubes on a RF 24-70mm to view through the lens of a Kodak Brownie Target SIX-20 at a Kinax II IPO camera.
As we are now entering the spring season (at least in New England) I think it might be good to challenge ourselves to get out with the camera, and perhaps try something that may be new to some.
As we are heading into a new month I'd once again like to set something up to help motivate and energize member discussions.
My favorite area of the Rockies that I have visited this far. The hike into this winter wonderland takes you from dense forests into wide-open meadows with massive mountains in every direction.
Haven't taken many shots lately but spring seems to reignite that which has gone dormant.
A few aurora shots from a recent trip to Norway. The first is the bridge to Sommaroy, the second at Storsandnes near Leknes and the third at Fredvang. Constructive comments welcome.
I've tried a bunch of times to get one of these Tree ICM shots that I'm happy with. I feel like this one maybe close. I wish there was a touch more texture.
I'm not sure if it's a direct result of Alan's pinned post here, but I have noticed a good deal more postings and even comments in this group as of late. It's genuinely nice to see.
I have an old Kodak Brownie 620 and I thought it would be interesting to take a photograph looking through the viewfinder.
I was in Boston last weekend and although the shots I had planned to take didn't really pan out I did come across this street performer that gave me reason to experiment.
Feedback is welcomed.
Taken early in the Spring just before 8AM.
The sun had begun covering the bay and was slowly approaching the top of my head as it lifted from the East.
I've been wanted to shoot with a projector for some time. I finally broke down and bought one (I'm not a gadget collector). I reached out to Julia to help me break it in. This is my first attempt.
I walk past this tire swing almost every day.

My target was to convey the kind of silence of a cold misty morning in autumn. Do you respond to that? Or are you triggered in a different way? Let me know & express your emotion!

One of my special pictures from Iceland
Z7 with 14-30 f4. One shot.
Edit: Picture was taken one side, no composite.
Like others I feel I have been a little tardy in engaging in discussions on the group.

Decided to head out to have another attempt at astro using a star tracker and a fellow photographer who I bumped into in the dark on another location asked if I'm interested to check out this spot
Canon 90D and my Tamron 85 F 1.8 lens shot from the back seat .
I wonder what Harry will think about this?
If it's one thing that I love, it's the old Hollywood glamour and I really wanted to use that as inspiration for this shoot when the Westcott Optical spot by Lindsay Adler arrived.
