Following Dean's lead, here are a few new shots I captured on my recent visit to NYC.
In “Taking My Camera for A Walk” I travel the Oregon landscape with my camera to forge what nature has to offer….to capture a feeling, mood, or a moment in time that tells a story.
We can admire the beauty of our planet not only on its surface but also by delving into the depths of its delicate intimacy, shaped by the water, a natural artist that work for thousands of years.
Some time ago I posted the first image, captured as a series of images on an iPhone and layered/blended in PS using the 'Pep Ventosa' approach.
Minimalist ~ I have actually been thinking of this shot for quite some time. I am not sure if I like it or not.
While boating on Lake Winnipesaukee we spotted this beautiful eagle.
Due to work, it's been such a long time since I sat down and edited a photo. But a recent trip finally inspired me to go back over images taken in the last couple months.
New to the page
Took this recently
It's a moody image that not everyone will like. And that's ok.

Hello everyone. I got to photograph a new space for a local brewery this past week. The space is mostly empty right now, they are moving in next year.
I just got a local, great deal on some recent Olympus MFT cameras and an 8mm lens. This was the first time I went out to shoot with it for about an hour. I prefer more normal lenses.
Memories of a night doing night photography on top of the castle of Castro Laboreiro.
In the municipality of Cartelle in Galicia (SP) there is an old abandoned mine. In this mine, there is a turquoise blue water pool that is a real attraction for anyone who wants to take a picture.
As some have expressed a desire to be informed here is a link to a blog entry I have just posted on my most recent followICM project.
Posting this challenge early as I will be traveling to NYC later this week.
Since this group is called: "Minimalism, Abstract, Experimental" what about for the September challenge to post one of each?
Need ideas?
Rachel came back into town for her university graduation ceremony. While she was in town she wanted to get together for a shoot. She saw this catsuit on my rack and wanted to try it on.
Sunrise over the purple hills in the Netherlands...
I've been a great fan of the "In The Round" photography technique for a good while now, but I have only rarely attempted it myself, with mixed quality in my results.
This is a composite of two images stitched vertically. I wanted an anchor for the Milky Way and the leading lines of the rocks helped frame my perspective.
I have been aware of the work of Sean Tucker for some time now, but only recently came across his YouTube channel and meaningful work after watching an in interview on FRAMES magazine.
This minimalist set is concerned with light, medium, dark as the sub-theme.
Very Sweat
Hanging out in Tacoma, Washington for a couple days I decided to try minimalist with my phone as I was walking around and also doing nothing.
Moving on form the pics taken at the beach I have been trying to expand on a project.
#1 Grooming in Place ~ Fairly bland skies and while the architecture was interesting, it was difficult to fine a good cut-off point and keep it minimalist.
Hi,
(This is more of a running photography business question but I couldn't find a better group for this)
Picking up the topic of the challenge. Minimalism is for me a key topic: reduce, reduce content, reduce, reduce to get rid of distractions. That concept helps me a lot to focus onto the target.
Doing my best Stephen Wilkes impersonation with this shot. Stephen is probably most famous for his day to night series.
