Zoe in a black maxi
Zoe came over for a test shoot earlier this year. We shot 3-looks that afternoon. She loved this shot. It ended up on her agency comp card. I hope you like it.

I haven't photographed Caitlin since before Covid. She reached out for a pool shoot. We picked up right where we left off. It's really hot in Texas.

We often look to exotic locations with perfect light to capture the beauty of nature.
Trying the create test shoot/look book lighting that still has personality and punch.
Bubbles and a rock creating the illusion of a shooting star in the night sky.
The sun rises really early in Maine especially here. Cadillac Mountain is the first place in the continental U.S. to see the sun rise. You also have to reserve a pass which sells out in minutes.
The storm stopped just before sunset. The rain filled rocky beach with water. Then a tiny gap on the horizon opened up and voila....
A few days ago I visited the beautiful village of Castro Laboreiro, part of the Peneda Gerês Natural Park in Portugal. A wonderful place with an old fortress from where I framed this Milky Way.
We arrived here at night, after many hours of travel. We could not see much since there was no moon and the light pollution is very low.
Not sure how I feel about this one yet. I think it's decent but I'm sure there's room for improvement.

We arrived at this point on the Galician coast at half past three in the morning. The moon was setting over the sea (79%).
Gotta say I'm pretty satisfied so far with my trip to Acadia National Park. I was only there Monday through Wednesday of this week.
For the July challenge, here is one of my first attempts at ICM (long before I'd heard the acronym), capturing street lights and moving car headlights.

I've been wanting to try this technique for a while now and I finally went out and did it. I believe it's called "In the round"? Spring seems to be a great time to give this a try.

When I was much younger and more impressionable there were a number of conceits masquerading as theories as to what made a proper photograph.
I couldn't help but trying.
First photograph is edited.
Looking for some feedback on this. I’m on vacation in Bar Harbor Maine. Took this one the first night in town. Can’t decide if I’m done with it or want to tweak it some more.
I knew conditions would be favorable for a rainbow so i waited for about an hour and sure enough, a rainbow formed. The rainbow combined with some awesome soft light created an awesome scene.
The iconic peak Gonbo Rangjon under the milkyway band. Zanskar.

This is a self portrait. What do you think it represents?
Interested to see peoples methods on getting a good image on an otherwise terrible (for photography purposes) weather day, including complete overcast or blue sky.
In line with this month's overarching theme, I took the opportunity to experiment with motion capture on a recent visit to the ocean.
Whispers from the past! Reminisce of a star that blew up a long time ago. Shot with a SVBony 503 80mm scope, Altair hypercam 183C, under Bortle 8-9 skies. 1:12 total time.
